The Faculty of Training Technology, University of Vocational Technology (UNIVOTEC) has just launched its first ON-LINE Degree Programme.

For whom

Target group :

Programme is primariry for those who teach technical subjects in schools/ state or private training organizations.
Be a Teacher /instructor/Trainer or Training Manger in a state sector or recognized private sector training organization.



* Programme:

The Programme comprises following components;

-Technical education & pedagogical training
-Technology subjects
-Individual project
-Teaching & industrial training

Technology Areas:

Civil & Construction Technology, Production & Manufacturing Technology, Telecommunication Technology, Information Technology,Automobile Technology, Food & Agriculture Technology


* Duration: 03 years.


* Mode of Delivery: Blended Mode

The course will be delivered online. Some Modules have include some face to face sessions.


* Entry qualifications:

-Recognized diploma in relevant technical field which is acceptable to the faculty board .
or
-Have NVQ level 5 or 6 in the relevant field
or
-Have 08 years teaching /industrial experience with NCT or equal qualification acceptable to the faculty board.
or
-Have 05 years of teaching /industrial experience together with NCT plus Diploma/Certificate in Technical Education/Technical Training

In selecting applicants those who are with teaching /industrial experience will be given priority.


* Course Fees :

Tuition fee is Rs. 30,000/= per year
Ffirst year payment should be done at the time of registration.
For registration on and other facilities Rs. 2000/= is charged annually
